A significant portion of the disease burden in the United States comes from poor familial relationships. Depression, anger, Sexually Transmitted Infections, infertility, chronic pain, single parenting, and poverty (and all the nutritional and medical complications that arise from poverty) are just a few of the health outcomes associated with the breakdown of a loving family unit.
Thus, the Genesis movement takes us back to the beginning to explore Human Love & the Family as it was intended in the Garden of Eden. By understanding God's initial call to Man and Woman, we produce greater fruit in our current relationships while also providing insight into the deficiencies present in our own upbringing, allowing healing to begin. With an emphasis on Theology of the Body and generational healing, the Genesis movement is the place to find Natural Family Planning education, Marriage preparation, Family retreats, teen Theology of the Body programs, tools for discerning one's vocation, and ultimately about embracing the message of Human Love as a path toward a greater union with our Creator.
