SUMMARY:"A Future Full of Hope" Infertility Prayer Service
DESCRIPTION:\nDisclaimer: New to our ministry? Learn more about our mission here.\nThe Annual Infertility Prayer Service for those couples struggling with infertility will be held during National Infertility Awareness Week on Thursday\, April 25\, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Saint Mary Cathedral in Austin. Sarah’s Hope & Abraham’s Promise of the Rabboni Institute for Learning & Healing and the Saint Mary Cathedral Knights of Columbus invite all to attend and join with these couples in prayer. A reception will be held immediately following. Contact shap@TeachMeHealMe.com or call (512) 736-7334 for more information. \nREGISTRATION \nTo register\, click here or visit: https://infertilityprayerservice2019.eventbrite.com \n\nFAQs \nWhat are my parking options for the event? \nSaint Mary Cathedral is located on 10th Street\, between Brazos Street and San Jacinto Boulevard in downtown Austin. Saint Mary Cathedral shares a parking garage that is available for weekday. The entrance to Capitol Towers Parking Garage is located off San Jacinto Boulevard. You may park in any of the unmarked parking spaces–usually located on the fourth floor and up. \nThe alley behind the Cathedral has a limited number of handicapped and visitor parking spaces \nStreets surrounding the Cathedral on all sides are lined with parking meters\, which are free Monday – Wednesday after 6 p.m. Please read the parking restrictions on the meters before leaving your vehicle. \nIs this prayer service only for those who are experiencing infertility? \nNo! We welcome and encourage loved ones of those who are struggling with infertility as well as anyone who would like to pray for struggling couples to please attend the prayer service. You can never have too many people praying for those who are hurting. \nI heard that couples struggling with infertility are invited to come to the front of the church for a blessing during the prayer service. Do I have to participate? \nAbsolutely not. A silent blessing from the priest is offered for anyone wishing to come forward toward the end of the prayer service. If this makes you uncomfortable\, you are welcome to remain in your pew and continue praying silently. \nMy spouse is unable to attend the prayer service. Can I come alone? \nPlease do! Your spouse is not required to attend in order to receive prayers or the blessing. \nIs this a Mass? \nNo\, it is a prayer service that is celebrated like a Liturgy of the Word. There will be readings from Sacred Scripture\, a reflection from the priest on the readings as they pertain to couples suffering from infertility\, a testimony by a couple who has experienced infertility\, music\, and a blessing from the priest for those who desire it. There will be no communion offered. \nI am part of an organization that serves couples struggling with infertility. Can I offer information about my organization to the couples who attend the prayer service? \nYes! We invite representatives from various organizations that serve couples struggling with infertility to be present at the reception immediately following the prayer service. If you believe you have relevant information or services for these couples or for more information\, please contact shap@teachmehealme.com or call (512) 736-7334. \nDo I need to be Catholic to attend the prayer service? \nNo\, all are welcome to attend and pray for and with hurting couples and families. \nStill have a question? Please contact us at shap@teachmehealme.com or (512) 736-7334. \n  \nDo you struggle with infertility?
